The Start Your Own Business ( SYOB ) Income Tax exemption is now available to individuals who have been unemployed for at least 15 months who set up a new business. New business owners are exempt from Income Tax on up to Euro 40,000 income per annum. The Income Tax exemption is targeted at the Long Term Unemployed person who has been continuously unemployed for the previous 15 months.
